Mr. H asked:

I’m looking to purchase some professional grade software that will allow me to edit photos and create collages. I have adobe photoshop elements 7 which is nice, but I was hoping to find something more professional. Any suggestions?

I am also looking for an easy to use dependable cd burning software..

Any help that you can offer pointing me in the right dirrection is greatly appreciated. Thank you for answering!

I recommend Adobe Lightroom as a superb tool for professional photographers. It is great for workflow and has some outstanding editing capabilities. If you use Mac, Aperture is similar to Lightroom and preferable by some. You can download a trial version of Lightroom. Give it a try!

Photo Shop or Paint Shop Pro:

    Photomatix:

    Helicon Focus:

    Lightroom:

    File sorting:

That should get you started with some useful software.
