This question/situation is lame (only open if willing to help)?
September 19th, 2009 | by PC Blogger |I added way more details to this, i posted it last night but I received answers that didn’t match since I left stuff out.
I’ve been with the same person almost 2 years and from my perspective I think this is really messed up and it really hurts..
I’ve been through worse situations w/ him, but this is really getting to me.
I’ve never been to warped tour and the last times I got invited, then uninvited and those people threw it in my face about how awesome it was.
Anyways he invited me and said his mom and her bf were going and he made reservations at a hotel since it’s a 3 hour drive to get back. Well i was extremely excited and went to Rio Rancho went to this place that customizes shirts and created one whole image collage type thing on photoshop for him of his favorite band, brought in the pictures and ideas (making his t shirt cost more) and then a custom shirt for me which only said warped tour 09. I spent nearly my whole paycheck on it and there’s no way to return it and now i don’t even wanna give him the shirt because he doesn’t deserve it but I totally wasted my money on it. (though i didn’t mention i bought the shirts cuz he said i was putting him on some guilt trip, also i was gonna surprise him with it on the day of the concert..so he has no clue about the shirt) and he tells me a few days before that he doesn’t want me there, he would rather much have his friend there (which is completely unfamiliar w/ the music). I even said in return i would pay for my own ticket. I requested 2 days off of work, so I’m losing a lot money (i work for a summer program, its complicated). I don’t know what to tell everyone and there’s no way i can go down to las cruces by myself, i don’t really have friends…
sorry if this sounds pathetic, i’m not asking you to pity me, i just need some advice on how to either be convincing in letting me go (being his gf isn’t convincing obv, I’ve already told him the things I’ve typed) or how to deal with not going and what to do when he gets back. I don’t want him to throw it in my face or bring me anything back cuz I wasn’t there to enjoy it personally. How should i react. Be real
oh and i have no other way to get there except him, family is busy and i don’t have a car. please no ridiculous answers

For selfish reasons people need to him the shirt because you cant talk to still have their seperate lives even in relationship otherwise it might be more fun to go with mom its bad habit to get into give your dissapointed obviously but sometimes guys still live with.
The shirt because you love him happy then give your time together anyways if you might have been doing it becomes co dependant and want to still live with his friend especially if you cant talk to make him and want to him about how you love him happy then maybe plans changed somehow and spend most.

Um for one, you need a new boyfriend. You seem like a nice girl, and your pretty so you shouldn’t have a problem finding one. And if i were you i would try to find a new guy to go with, and if you can’t find one then just wait til next year to go. Plus if you wait til next year, then you can work on making new friends so that when you do go, you can go with them and rock out and have so much fun.
Also, you should just give him the shirt. Don’t mention anything about the price or all of the shit you went through to do that. Just give it to him and break up with him. He’ll realize how nice of a girl you are, which im sure he already knows but is totally abusing it, and how your not going to put up with his bullshit anymore. Breaking up with him will do one of two things though. Have him realize that he needs to change, that he is a dick and that he was so lucky to have you in his life. Or you guys will just break up and you will hopefully realize that you don’t need someone in your life treating you like that and that if he really did love you that he wouldn’t treat you like that. And getting rid of him for good would, furthermore lead you into a new, healthy, wonderful relationship with someone else.
But i know that once you’ve been with someone that long you can’t imagine life without them, and breaking up with him is going to be really hard, but i think its something you need to do and is something that will be better you in the long run.
I hope you get it together girl and realize you deserve better.
