Please help.Questions about The Art Institutes(If you been to one please answer)?

And I’m not sure what I want to do (as a career), but I’m good at art I enjoy doing it, and I’m thinking maybe getting into advertisement maybe making movie posters or like perfume or make up ads, or maybe getting into fashion design. idk.
But I was wondering what it’s like to go to the art institute.
Is it like high school where you have certain classes you have to take and you can have an election class(choose a class you want).
I just want to know how a regular day there is like.
And these are the art things I enjoy doing. So if you have time will you please tell me some careers you think would be good for me. Thank you. =]
Art things I enjoy doing:
-Traditional sketching and drawing
-Pottery (working with clay) and a little jewelry making
-Photography
-Digital art: working with photoshop and Coral Painter X, although I don’t have much experience in that
-Fashion, I enjoy making a few fashion sketches every now and then but that’s as far as I go with that.
My Plan:
And after high school I plan on going to Mira costa collage, than the peace corps because I’d like to get involved in helping ect. and I think it’ll give me time to think of what I really want to do, and then afterwords I plan on going to the Art Institute.
Do you think that’s a good plan?
And I do really want to join the peace corps so no comment on that please.
And I just want to figure this all out because at my school we’re going to do this thing called a Juniorexhibitionn and that’sbasicallyy finding a career you’re interested in doing and you have to do a ton of research and other stuff for it

An art major and perhaps you would do good if could publish it and water color painting and the basic would help you lot when perhaps you lot of books about it and read it so others can read lot of yours if could publish it and perhaps you take art in peace.
My brother went into social study guess you could publish it and drawings of yours if you would help you could publish it my brother went into university he didnt finish it my nearly 40 years old still do god guides you could publish it so.
