Photoshop help?

Okay. So I just got photoshop and I need to know how to take multiple pictures and put them on one page so I can make like a collage. I have a mac and usually i just right click and copy the picture and paste as a new layer but it is not working. So please tell me how to do this!

Try opening a new file with a canvas size that would fit all the pictures you want to collage. Then click File > Import > Picture From File. Import the Pictures and use the size and grab tools to arrange your collage. Hope this Helps.
