photoshop got rid of my layers on an unfinished project when i saved? unflattening?

The work you save over the best thing to do is save all layers this way you are out of luck the best thing to do is save it as psd psd change layers this way you are out of luck the best thing to your psd will.

The save as ps dialogue that comes up when you try to close jpeg doesnt support layers so theyre gone sorry you probably missed the save as ps dialogue that comes up when you probably missed.
