Logos that define the new generation?

For a project at school we have to create a collage of something that defines what the current generation will be remembered for. What instantly came to mind was a set of logos that have to do with all the technological innovations of our generation.

I’m 17 years old, and when I think about what we will be remembered for is that my age group is going to be the first group to really have a lot of technological advances and media. For instance, a lot of parents just don’t know how to handle Myspace and Facebook, because it’s a form of communication that they’re just not used to.

What I’ve come up so far is this: http://i28.tinypic.com/2af6o1.jpg

I’ve used Photoshop to overlap the logos and run them through a filter to make it look more like a poster / drawn, to add some character.

Are there any other logos that come to mind when you think about the technological advances that my generation gets to experience and become accustomed to first?

Hmm, you already have most of the logos I would think of. You could add a Monster or Rockstar logo. Honestly, I don’t like either of them, but a lot of teens do. You could also add something about “going green,” since that sort of trend is really picking up! Maybe add a logo from a clothing brand, like American Eagle or Hollister? The cover from a recent, popular album might fit, too. And definitely add a Wii or Wii logo!

World of Warcraft? I guess you would label that as Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game(MMORPG). A kind of online experience that is highly addictive because of the way the game is designed, through repetitive tasks and interactive role playing, to keep you and your virtual online friends playing.

World of Warcraft currently holds 62% of the MMOG market at 10 million subscribers. The current subscriber base for all Massively Multiplayer Online Games(MMOGs) is 16 million.

It’s definitely having a huge impact on our generation and it’s concept is changing the way we view a game.

Although I would say in general, computer and Internet technology have provided us a new type of online experience.
