I need a free user friendly picture editing software?

DD asked:

I’m making a Christmas collage and I need to re-size a bunch of pictures. I really enjoy editing pictures and I’d like to do more than lighten/darken, crop, reduce redeye, but I’ve never had photoshop and don’t understand all the gobbledygook of gimp.

i don’t know of any freeware but I can say that most digital cameras come with photo editing software, they may not be as complex and intricate as photoshop but they give you basic options like quotes, cropping, enlargements, color adjust, lighten or darken.

Or if you are takings pics with a mobile phone … your service provider usually will have an online picture program that will allow you to perform basic picture editing.

    Hope this helps
