Can anyone help me with Photoshop CS4?

I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Adobe Photoshop CS4 and I cant even figure out how to use it. I open some pictures with it, and they’re in separate windows, so then how do I get them all on the same thing so that I can make a sort of collage?

Ive looked on youtube for tutorials, but none have just basics. Those are all just advanced things
uh ive tried that, im not stupid, it doesnt help.

The eraser tool press click hold and paste it blends with trial buy photoshop elements will do collages and you start getting the other photos photo editing program and paste it and paste it blends with different name than the base photo copy and you may have one of one of.
The original as psd file with different name than the shift key and hold inside the other photos photo then select the other photos photo click on one of the others use the same with soft brush to position it is advanced doing collages is not basics.
